COLLECTING: TOMB OF DRACULA () , DRACULA LIVES! , Written by Marv Wolfman and illustrated by Gene Colan. This combination is so good. Quincy Harker and the rest of the crew who are trying to send Dracula back to his grave permanently are prevalent in this collection. Great collection and great read. Original "Tomb of Dracula" Writer/co-creator Marv Wolfman is back to scribe a few stories, but the majority of the writing chores are shared by over 20 writers, including Roy Thomas, Steve Gerber, Jim Shooter, Gerry Conway, Gardner Fox, Len Wein, Chris Claremont, Ralph Macchio and Doug Monech, among others. The first 3 vols comprise the tomb of Dracula vol 1 omnibus (which looks great too, but comes at a hefty price tag). This comic is a bit dated, and pales in comparison to Snyder's American Vampire. DC's New I, Vampire is also a pretty good read (although it had a short run).
